The password was set on this device by someone else and I need to reset it so that I can make network changes to it.  Thank you.

Check YouTube for instructions to perform an nvram reset.

When performing an nvram reset it bypasses all passwords. The instructions may have been wrong. If I can find the proper instructions I will send them to you.
