By default there is no admin password. If you inherited this printer and do not know the password then you will need to perform a partial clean through the preboot menu of the printer. To enter preboot menu you turn the printer off, turn it back on and when the 1/8 appears under the HP logo, immediately touch the HP icon. From there the options you are looking for are under the administrator menu.
