i can't give you a list, just some comments:
- Most current 'business-class' LaserJet printers offer support for the three 'traditional' Page Description Languages: PCL5 (PCL5c and PCL5e variants); PCL6 (a.k.a. PCL XL); PostScript (a.k.a. PS).
- Cheaper Laserjet devices intended fot the home, or home-office, environment may only support smaller/cheaper PDLs such as PCLm and PCLmS (which are based on a subset of the PDF specification, with job-ticketing features).
- No current LaserJet printer directly supports PCL3 or PCL4, but if the printer supports PCL5, it should support most of the escape sequences used by the earlier PCL versions, albeit with some reservations: for example, some older sequences are considered to be obsolete, so the later printers might just ignore them, and (probably more importantly), text fonts may look different (the older versions used bitmap fonts, or Intellifont scalable fonts, and PCL5 devices may substitute modern encapsulated TrueType scalable printer-resident fonts).
- Most inkjet devices use raster-based PDLs such as PCL3 GUI or PCL3 Enhanced - these are not compatible with PCL5.
