Pictures cutting off when printing

Embedded pictures (like screenshots, or images copied from web pages) in microsoft word get cut when printing. Also the print-out sometimes contains additional background information of the image. it happens only on this printer (laserjet pro mfp m281fdw). The same document prints fine other printers. This is a new printer, and i have already tried uninstalling & reinstalling drivers, upgrading printer firmware etc, but it hasn't helped.

sounds like the printer cant process the data format.  it could be because the memory on the printer is too low.  You said you uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers but did you try a different version? pcl 5, pcl 6, PostScript.

Thanks for the reply. There is no PCL 5, or Post script driver except the full version & basic driver. There are universal post script and universal pcl5 drivers available, but nothing specific to the printer. I am going to try and connect the machine with 64 bit win7 OS, and see the result.
