Hello!

When you print, a blurred image of low contrast appears again. At a distance of 78 mm below the main. On the old cartridge 03A-dark vertical stripes of different widths. The new 03A cartridge has a solid dark background.

Please tell me how to fix the problem.

check the contacts that corrispond with the toner cartridge.  if they are broken, bent or missing the toner cant ground properly and can cause print defects.  This could also be a bad fuser assembly.  do a half cycle test, put a single sheet in the drop down tray and print, BEFORE the sheet gets to the fuser (this might take some trial and error) stop the print by opening the toner access door.  remove the toner and the sheet should be underneath. does the print defect show before it hits the fuser?  if so, the problem could be the contacts or cartrdige.  if no defect is showing, the issue is the fuser assembly.

Thank you! Clear answer.

"do a half cycle test..."- I did. Text can be smeared with your finger. Thus, the sheet did not get into the fuser.

The print turned out with a dark background.

Therefore:

- the problem is not the fuser,

- "the problem could be the contacts or cartrdige".

The cartridge is new from the original packaging with the original seal of 2004:

The problem could be the contacts?

there are metal contacts in the printer that correspond with grounds on the toner cartridge.  They usually look like a metal wire folded over or a small metal, spring loaded pin.  usually find them on the left side of the printer (if you're facing it) where the toner cartrdige goes.  check to see if they are broken, missing or bent too far out of alignment.
