Color Laserjet Pro M452nw
Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

Just installed a new HP Color Laserjet Pro M452nw today, connecting it through the wireless option to my network.  I followed the setup instructions and everything seemed okay and I was able to print the test sheet.  However, when I try to print a document from my MacBook, I get an error message in the print queue stating, "Print job not accepted".  I reviewed the support log, finding others with the same issue, but perhaps on different printer models.  In any case, I followed the instructions for the fix, installed a new Apple printer driver, reinstalled the printers, reset the printing system and I continue to have the same problem.  By the way, it sometimes pauses the print queue after encountering the error.  Not sure what to do...

Hello @sanovogo

You can try the following changes

Go to the network set up on the printer and to network services , disable ipv6 (turn off)

Go to Link speed (still within network set up menu) and change to 100TX full

Sent a new print job to the unit

If it fails while you are seeing the error on the PC go to the printer and try to process a configuration report from the reports menu

Get the IP address on the right side on 1st page under printer settings

Enter the IP address into the web browsers URL , this online application should open showing the status of the printer this way you will isolate the connectivity to the printer

If by this point will showing the error on the PC you can print the configuration report and the website its opening I will suggest another driver since it must be the one having the issue which I could give some other recommendations but will like to know what happened first

Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for HP.

Disabling IPV6 on the printer fixed it for me.

Turning of iPv6 did not help me.  If I power cycle the printer, it will show up on my router's list of connected devices after the blue wi-fi light goes solid, and I can go to the printer's IP address to see the status, settings, etc.

Then I print, and after a few moments, the computer I print from says "print job not accepted", and then if I attempt to refresh the printer's webpage, it just spins for eternity.  This happens on both Windows and Mac machines.  The IP address of the printer then disappears from the router's list of connected devices, but the power light and the blue wi-fi light on the printer remain solid the entire time.

If I wait long enough, sometimes the printer will print out the first inch or so of the document I was trying to print and leave the rest of the page blank.  I am about to pull an Office Space with this printer.  I will never buy another printer that does not have an ethernet port on it.

I am going to connect it via USB to my router and see if I can use the Asus software to print to it that way, if not, it's time to dig my baseball bat out of the attic.
