LaserJet M402DW
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm using my LaserJet M402DW as a dedicated LABEL printer.  I have 8 1/2" x 11"full sheet labels in Tray 2.

My goal is to print a PDF label and have it immediately be printed.

The printer LCD screen says insert Labels tray 2 every time I send a print job.  I have to press OK on the printer before it will print anything every time.   This is even after setting Tray 2 settings on the printer itself to be Labels for paper type.

Window printer properties/preferences are also all set to Paper type labels

Why would it it need to confirm labels are in Tray 2 if I already told it labels are in Tray 2?

I found a partial workaround, but it's not acceptable.

If I leave the Paper type to Unspecified, the document will print immediately without having to press OK button

The problem is, it printer messy since the toner is not fused correctly leaving pieces missing and toner falling off the page.

What are my options to have a dedicated printer for labels with the Paper type actually being set to be Labels?

Thoughts, Suggestions?   I've been living with this problem for years now and am finally posting this for help.
I've tried multiple computers, have the latest printer firmware, the works.  (same results)
