HP LaserJet Pro 4004dn Printer

I took 2 HP LaserJet 4004dn (E Stamping Printer) printer a year ago. In which one printer is working fine and another printer is not working properly, light print quality problem and complained HP support. Then the technical engineer came to the spot and changed a part of the printer and also said that power of your office is 248V. So the print is coming like this and gone.

But when the problem printer is taken to another place and checked, same problem persist. Again I have called for HP support and then complained again and then the same technical engineer spoke and took the printer to check at our service center as the current is not okay. But he is saying that the current is not okay in the service center also. Also, the technical engineer behave rude to me without fixing the printer.

The problem has not been solved so far. We have taken this printer to serve customers and now we are losing business due to the printer problem. Kindly tell the solution.

Hello @SUNILKUMAR_BS

HP recommends using the HP Print and Scan Doctor to run diagnostics, check drivers, firmware, printer queue status, and print test pages to help identify unresolved issues.

It is also important to ensure the printer has the latest firmware installed, as updates can improve print quality problems.

Since the light print issue continues even after replacing parts and testing the printer at a different location, the problem is likely not related only to office power conditions, and you should contact HP Support again for further hardware diagnosis and service follow-up.

Thank you,

Chris A
