Align in what way? Normally software will have the option to shift the image slightly. Some HP drivers allow you to shift the image as well. Are normal prints centered properly? If not the the registration might be out but I am not sure that this series even has the option to adjust try registration. HP recently started offering this option on UPD drivers but the 3010 is not listsed as compatible so you probably can't take advantage of that feature.
