We have a HP CP5225 printer where the network port has become damaged and the ethernet cable won't click in, therefor always falling out.
What is the replacement part I would need to replace the network port and what price are we talking?
Thanks

The port is part of the formatter which is a very expensive part. Another option is this printer has an EIO slot on the formatter at the bottom. It is behind the metal plate with 2 screws. If you go on ebay you can buy a hp jetdirect eio netowrk card models 610N, 615N or 620N for little money and you just need to install in the slot with the power off, perform a cold reset of the printer and when the printer comes to ready, print a config page and you will get a separate page for the network card with its settings and just use the ip address to type into web browser and change the settings as you wish. You should also be able to disable the current network port on the formatter if you wish to use the same address with the jet direct card. Both ports if active can not have the same ip address. Good Luck.
