Printer Drivers not working

“The printer drivers are not functioning correctly. The drivers currently installed are universal, and when I download them, the printer is able to print double‑sided but loses the ability to print in color. I installed the ARM64 driver for Windows 11.”

I have a Surface Laptop Series 7

I tried everything with Microsoft, and they say that HP support has to help because we even reset the whole laptop and couldn't find how to fix the problem.

The windows 11 ARM 64 version is 8.2.0.26778 dated Jun 30, 2026 and is described here

If you already have that version, then uninstall it using printui and then re-install it. Use the above link to  install the driver.

Run the following app from the command line

printui /s

Remove all references to the HP printer.

Then have windows find the printer.

Let me know if there is a problem.

I did everything twice to ensure it worked. It didn't. Now, if I use the printer with the Class Driver UPD PCL 6, it can print double-sided but not in color. If I use the bottom one, it can print in color but not double-sided.  I don't know what else to do.
