Can a printer be called as a second-hand printer if its warranty status is active since past 2 months from the date of purchase?

No,
The initial warranty on HP system is always shown by the manufacture date and not by the purchase date, to update the warranty with the purchase date you should provide a proof of purchase and update the warranty accordingly:

What is the exact printer model? The HP 1005 printer was marketed some years back an and no longer in the market for many years.
A warranty will be provided for a new product bought from a retailer with its original proof of purchase, a second-hand product is provided as is with no manufacturer warranty.

I have bought a new printer.
My printer have got only 10 months of warranty period but the HP gives 12 months.
I know that warranty can be renewed by contacting HP.
My query is-
Has someone used my printer for 2 months before I bought it?
