Laserjet Pro MFP M148fdw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Laserjet Pro MFP M148fdw keeps printing   "Get Host: Dev Mgmt /ProductConfigDyn.xm1 HTTP/1.1" every 2 minutes or before it prints a document.  It wastes paper.  How do I stop it?

 Hi @epeterw

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Please follow the below steps this could fix the issue.

  1. Open the Devices and Printers folder, right-click the HP UPD, and then select Properties.

  2. Click the Device Settings tab.

  3. In the Installable Options section, set Printer Status Notification to either Enable or Disable.

  4. Click OK.

Figure: Enable or disable Printer Status Notification

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
