Hello, today I've tried to set up my printer but after doing it I wanted to test it to see if it was working. Turns out it wasn't, it's not printing anything for some reason, it's connected to the same wifi as my laptop so I have absolutely no idea what's going on. I've attached some photos of my printer and what it's showing. I can take more if needed. Will you be able to help?
Thanks in advance

Hi @Izolina,

I understand your printer is connected to Wi-Fi but not printing anything when you try to test it. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.
Confirm the printer is set as the default printer
On your laptop, go to Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Printers & scanners.
Select your HP printer and click Set as default.
Check printer status in the queue
Open the printer → Open print queue.
Make sure there are no paused jobs or errors, and clear any stuck print jobs.
Print a test page from the printer itself
Use the printer’s control panel to print a Configuration Report or Test Page.
If the printer cannot print internally, the issue is likely with ink/toner, paper, or printer setup rather than Wi-Fi.
Check ink/toner and paper
Make sure cartridges or toner are installed correctly and have ink/toner available.
Confirm paper is loaded properly in the input tray.
Restart printer and computer
Turn off the printer and laptop.
Turn the printer back on first, wait until it is ready, then restart the laptop.
Re-add the printer in Windows
Go to Printers & scanners → Remove device, then click Add device to reinstall it.
This refreshes the connection between the computer and printer.
Even when a printer is connected to Wi-Fi, it may not print if it is in offline mode, paused, out of ink/toner, or if the driver installation didn’t complete correctly.
I hope this helps.
