Dear HP Support Team,
Hope you are doing well.
I need help with a regional compatibility issue. My HP printer does not accept original European cartridges and shows a region mismatch error (device is originally from Asia). I've googled that the region change should be performed in such cases, and came across this feature in the printer setting. However, after "Supply reset" the only options I have to choose from are Asian countries only.
There is 1 more attempt remaining for region change, and I've found out you could perform a regional reset for this device. Could you assist me with this, please? I can provide the serial number and any other details if needed.
Thank you for your time!
Warm regards,
Dmitriy SHALE

Hello
According to your description, the printer was initially initialized in the Asia Pacific region and is currently using original ink cartridges sold in Europe, resulting in a Region Mismatch error.
If the printer still displays 1 remaining area change opportunity, it is possible to apply for a Regional Reset. However, before confirming whether the conditions are met, it is necessary to verify the device information first.
Please provide the following information via private message:
Printer model
Printer Serial Number
The country/region settings currently displayed on the printer
The product number (or photo) of the installed European ink cartridge
Photo of the region mismatch error interface (if any)
After receiving the information, we will further confirm whether the device meets the regional reset conditions and provide follow-up processing suggestions.
Thank you
