Hi @Westyin,
I understand you have followed the steps to perform NVRAM Reset on the printer which has not helped to fix the issue, let's try an advanced reset on the printer which should help to resolve the issue,
I am sending you another step to try in a private message.
In the forum beside your handle name just click on the envelope to view it.
If you need further assistance, just let me know.
Have a nice day!
Thank You.

Hi @Westyin,
Thank you for showing your interest in HP Support Forums. It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts, and other support personnel. For you to have the best experience on the HP forum, you could also visit our HP Forums Guide for the First Time Here? Learn How to Post and More.
I see that you are having issues with the printer stuck in an error message of "Printing fax page 1" when restarting the printer it keeps printing out the same fax. I would really like to be able to help you resolve this issue.
Please make sure that the printer is connected directly to the wall outlet and not to the surge protector.
Remove all the ink cartridges and then try to perform a hard reset on the printer.
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Remove USB cable, if present.
Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.
Now insert the ink cartridges and then try to print a test page and check if it works.
If your printer connected wirelessly, make sure to temporary connect the device with USB and then follow the link to check for the latest firmware update if available for your printer, using support website.
If you are still having issues, try resetting the printer. I will send you another step to try in a private message to try.
In the forum beside your handle name just click on the envelope to view it.
If you need further assistance, just let me know.
Have a nice day!
Thank You.
