HP Laserjet Pro MFP 126nw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I gifted my daughter a LASERJET PRO MFP 126nw. Printer throws 'Out of Paper' error even when the printer is loaded with paper. Occasionally, we have printed without any problems. It throws the error at least 48 out of 50 attempts. We are not able to find a pattern in which the printer seems to work.
We have been able to scan documents successfully without trouble. Please help.

Does it try to feed a page and then fail with the error? If so, the pickup roller might be dirty or worn. You can clean the roller with a soft lintfree cloth dampened with water.

If the roller is not the problem, make sure that there is nothing in the paper path that prevents the tray from lifting the paper when it goes to feed.

Hi, thank you for the response. The Printer is attempting to pick the paper, as I am able to hear the roller rotating. I will attempt your suggestion & feedback whether it worked. thank you.
