Printer tray issue

Added paper to main paper tray and now it won't close as  if something is jamming but I see no obstructions.  Have had printer less than a week

You may have inadvertently pressed the blue latch to extend the tray to accommodate Legal size paper?

I realized that's what I had done after I saw another post on similar issue. Thanks for the reply.

Photosmart  printer c4780, the paper tray has been extended and I wish to close it , I have tried  but without success, can you help please
