HP Envy 4500 printer
macOS 10.14 Mojave

My wireless printer worked fine for three years. Now, however, it will not detect my WiFi network.

I have tried the obvious: Unplugging the printer. Resetting the router. I reset to default settings. I tried entering the name of the network directly but it could not be found. Wireless direct is off.

Please help!

A warm welcome to HP Forums! This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.

I understand you need support and I'll be glad to help you out. However, for an accurate solution, I would need more details:

What's the make and model of your WiFi router?

Do you have SSID broadcast disabled on your WiFi router?

Do you have a guest network enabled on your WiFi router?

Approximately how far is the printer located from the WiFi router?

Are you able to connect other devices to your home WiFi?

Could you also check for any WiFi interference
