Was trying to send a document to the printer but kept getting a message saying printer couldn’t print. Forgot exact term. Did a hard restart. Tried unplugging printer, turning it on and off, but printer would not complete initializing. Yellow and green lights kept blinking. It would try initializing again but yellow light kept blinking. Thanks for your help.

Thank you for your reply. Can you help me further? What is formatting? If that's the problem, who can fix it? Do I have to take my printer to a repair shop or can I do it myself?https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/forums/replypage/board-id/Install/message-id/359132#

The formatter is the one which your USB & Network cable plugged into.
You can try to bake it first to see if you can save it back to live.

You Just need to take left cover off the formatter is there.

If it didn't work then you will need to go to a repair shop or buy a formatter from eBay or somewhere and replace it yourself.
Try it and good luck.
