My printer is connected with a USB connection and I use it with a laptop and a desktop and I used the same setup software driver on both devices and the operating system  is the same in both devices. But the printer is printing in color when I used it with the laptop and printed grayscale when I used it with the desk top

What is the problem and how to solve it?

Thanks

Right click the icon for the printer, select printer properties and then device settings. Scroll down until you find the "device type" option and make sure it reads either auto or color. Also check advanced, printer defaults and make sure that grey scale is not checked.
