The answer is "maybe", though as you have found, paper at this weight is not specifically in the recommended range.
Paper Handling
Media types | Paper (bond, brochure, colored, glossy, heavy, letterhead, light, photo, plain, preprinted, prepunched, recycled, rough), transparencies, labels, envelopes, cardstock |
Media weight supported (metric) | 60 to 163 g/m² (Uncoated/Matte, recommended), however up to 175 g/m² Postcards and 200 g/m² HP Matte is allowed in the driver. |
Media weight supported (U.S. standard) | 16 to 43 lb (Uncoated/Matte, recommended), however up to 47 lb Postcards and 53 lb HP Matte is allowed in the driver. |
Edits - "Not good advice?"
Another member has stated (in the following post) that using Brochure paper setting is not useful for a Laser Printer due to the manner in which the paper is heated for printing on the Media. Likely the case; I don't have a laser printer. Smiling.
The printer supports "Brochure Matte" - this paper is typically 180 gsm (as sold by HP). If the printer balks using your "cardstock" setting (for Media type), try using the Media type "Brochure matte" and the size of the card paper.

We have customers ask about non standard media all the time. The only sure way to know is to test it. Make sure when you print that you have the paper type set for cardstock. This ensures that enough heat is used and the speed of printing is slowed down to ensure proper bonding of toner to the card stock.
