Hello to all
I have the abovementioned Colour LaserJet printer. For no reason that I can fathom, I have started to experience a colour alignment issue. It's ruining colour printing, but printing in mono is still printing fine.
I have uploaded a picture of a courier label, that shows the mis-alignment. I have followed the HP steps, and updated the printer firmware - this made no difference. I have also downloaded and run the HP Print Doctor - it found some "port issues" (that it resolved), as well as some "recommended updates" (which it also claimed it fixed). It made no difference 😞 Everything else, according to the Doctor was in the green.
At the end of the Doctor, it printed out a test page, and I have also uploaded a picture of this too. As you can see, the Cyan panel looks decidedly iffy and too light across all three bars, the Magenta panel appears to be fine, the Yellow panel seems to fade out too much on the third bar, and the Black panel seems to move to an odd brown colour - should this be a grey? I'm also not sure what the lines and boxes beneath the colour panels should look like - so not sure if this is showing up an issue?
I wondered if anyone that knows what they're looking at is able to diagnose what I need to do to fix the printing issues?
Many thanks in advance for any responses.
