Printing Overhead Transparencies

I need to print some teaching materials on Overhead Transparencies for my Overhead projector.

Can I do it on this printer without ruining the printer?

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

Need the special LaserJet Overhead transparency to print on.  It would not print on normal transparency.

Not sure if anyone is still selling these transparencies.

If the transparencies state that it is LaserJet comptible, then should be ok.

Yes, they do sell inkjet and laserjet compatable transparencies. Several options are on Amazon. What settings do I use on my HP OfficeJet  Pro 8740?

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Perhaps you can try using the "Plain" paper settings with "Presentation" quality.  Do ensure that the "Print on Both sides" is set to "No".  These are from the  FULL featured software print driver settings.
