Printing Yellow Streak

Our printer prints a 4 inch yellow streak vertically down every page. It starts off as a faded line and as we print more it becomes a brighter line. Any idea on how to fix it without buying new parts?

Please post your model number and a sample if possible. Most common cause of a single color defect is a bad toner cartridge. Remove the yellow cartridge and look for signs of excess toner or toner leakage.
