Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I just bought this printer about a week ago.  I wanted to print an address on an envelope using Microsoft Word 2010.  I create the document, loaded an envelope in the manual feed tray of the printer and hit print.  The document fed and printed but the printed address is not centered on the envelope, it is near the top margin.  This occurred when printing using a Windows 7 PC and also using a Macbook Pro running Word for Mac 2011.  I can't find settings to adjust the margins for the printer.  Any help would be appreciated

Are you using label and envelope function or just creating a document the same as a letter? If anything I find word places the address too far down the envelope for my liking.

I first tried creating the envelope from the letter I was writing.  Then I just tried creating an envelope by typing the address info into the template.  I did this on both a PC and a Mac running different versions of Word and got the same result--the address printed as shown in the picture I posted.  Hence, I believe the issue is with the settings on the printer, not the computers or the versions of word.  I will also note that the printer I used previously with these computers--an HP p1505n--put the address in the proper location when printing envelopes.

Have you tried opening the envelope options tab when you go to the envelope template and try to manually shift the placement? Not ideal but a solution.

Which driver are you using on the Windows PC for printing?

No, that didn't work either.  I went in and set the address to print 2.25" from the top (instead of Auto) and it still printed near the top edge of the envelope, adjacent to the return address.

Very frustrating.

On the MacBook, I am using the driver that comes in the HP Easy Start Package that was released in October 2019.  It is the only driver for use with OsX.

On the PC, I am using the only driver that was available for Windows 7 64 bit but it is also a recent release.
