Trying to print checks on our M506 and need the printing to move downward about a 1/8". Can this be solved by changing the PCL "Form Length" from 60 to another number? If so, how do I change it? Thanks in advance!

I very much doubt that changing the PCL form-length attribute would make my difference, since (assuming that you are printing using a standard Windows printer driver) the generated print job will contain 'instructions' which will over-ride that setting.
However, many Laserjet printers include a 'registration adjustment' feature.
For example, with the LaserJet Pro 400 Colour MFP M475dn, the adjustments are via the front panel menu system:
Setup | System Setup | Print Quality | Adjust Alignment | Adjust Tray N
where there are different settings for:
X1 Shift
X2 Shift
Y Shift
The X1 and X2 refer to horizontal shifts on the two faces of duplex pages.
It seems that the adjustment feature is only available via the control panel menus; it does not appear to be available via the Embedded Web Server of network models.
Of course, such registration adjustment will affect all print jobs selecting from the relevant tray.
Having said all that, I've no idea whether or not these features are available with your Laserjet M506 model, although I'd expect that they are provided.

Thank you dansdaduk!! You were spot on and i wanted to let you know it was VERY much appreciated! I had to change the Y shift (-3.00). In case anyone has a M506, the steps to do this are: Administration/General Settings/Print Quality/Image Registration/amount of shift. And you were correct, it had to be done on the actual printer menu.
Thanks again!!

First of all, we have an HP Laserjet Pro 402dne, but it seems like When we print checks, the right-hand side is cutting off part of the last digits. I followed the directions through Setup/Sytem Setup/Print Quality/Adjust Alignment. We're trying this on Tray 2, X alignment. My first attempt was a meager adjustment of 0 to -2. No change. Then we went to -4, +2 and finally +8! It seems that no matter what adjustment we make, the pages are exactly the same. Any thoughts? Thank you!
