Printing blank pages

Printer worked great for awhile, then suddenly all pages come out as a blank page with faint specks of toner. The same thing happens on test pages/reports from the printer as well as printing from PC. I have tried replacing the toner cartridges with no change in result.

Did anything change recently or did you have any paper jams or power issues? Have you tried printing an engine test? With the printer at ready open and close the front door four times quickly.  This should produce a page with lines on it of all colors. If it does then you likely have a bad formatter. If it does not produce lines then either the DC controller is bad or the high voltage circuit is bad, however in some cases a bad formatter can cause an issue with the engine test even if the rest of the printer is ok.

The engine test produced barely visible lines. Is there a way to tell between the DC controller or the high voltage circuit?

I would suggest that you apply the DC controller update that you will find listed in posts here that deal with a 59 error appearing on the screen.

Not specifically for your problem but there have been DC controller issues on this model. Any chance you can post a pic of the output you are getting?

Well I got the update applied and it still prints just a faint image.
