Have switched from ATT to Time Warner.Since switching printer works ok the first time but when asked to print a second time, it takes 2+ hours to do so. The queue says the document printed or it is printing. Have reinstalled the printer still the problem persists. The printer is connected by an ethernet wire. Tried removing the cord and tried using wifi, still no diference.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

You said you are hooked up via ethernet. do you know how to determine the IP address of your printer? you can print a configuration page and or network summary to verify your printers network settings. In the networking tab of your web interface for the printer. disable IPv6, disable DHCPv6, disable WS Discovery. if there is a duplex speed setting- change it from "auto" to TX100mb. Also you can right click your print driver in the devices and printer folder- select printer properties, and make sure that windows 10 has not changed your IP port to a WSD port. If so, you will probably need to add a TCP/IP port manually.
If this problem is occuring only when you print pdf's and you are using adobe as your pdf viewer- there may be a file called acrord32.exe that is maxing your computer resources. aside from updating to the latest version of adobe DC reader, and making sure microsoft edge is not your default PDF viewer-
