LaserJet 1018
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Installing out LaserJet 1018 won't succeed. We tried to connect en install the driver(s) following the many instructions in maual and video but failed.

Questions:

Are there still drivers available for the LaserJet 1018?

Where can we find them and what's the best way to install them?

Thanks!

The driver for your printer is built into Windows already. There are no downloadable drivers specific to your printer.

But, the next best thing I think to use would be a Universal Printer Driver. This should work for setup for most any printer.
Here's a link to try:

Check here to see if it helps.

If that does not solve your problem then you may need HP Universal Print Driver PCL5 6.1.0.20062 64-bit.

https://drivers.softpedia.com/get/PRINTER/HP/HP-Universal-Print-Driver-PCL5-61020062-64-bit.shtml

Download and unzip it to a folder.

Manually add printer and choose USB001 as connected port then the last step is to point "add from disk" to the folder you unzip to.

HOpe it helps.
