HP LaserJetM209dw
Microsoft Windows 11

am trying to get my father’s HP LaserJet M209dw up and running again. One day it simply stopped printing—after 101 pages. The toner still has 30% capacity left, the device is connected via LAN, the web interface is accessible, and the firmware has been updated—so it appears to be online and ready.

However, the web interface only shows:

Status: Printer cannot print.

There is no explanation provided. Even with the serial number and product number (6GW62F), support cannot find anything. The HP Smart app has also not been able to help so far. What else can be done?
