  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

Same issue this is nuts. Any resolution yet? Why is this firmware update that's destroying printers still available on your website?

  • Do you have any errors on the printer?
  • What happens when you try making a copy?

Hello -

 

This feels like an automated message, please allow me to update you on the issue.

 

First off I just got off the phone with support - and we went through all troubleshooting procedures. They told me the device was past warranty and to buy a new printer.

 

I indicated this issue was nothing to do with warranty since my printer broke as a result of blatant negligence by HP in allowing a firmware software update that bricks / breaks your customer's property to continue to remain downloadable on your website.

 

I really hope we can find an way to replace or repair my broken printer.
