My operating system is Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit..

My HP LaserJet M1132 MFP is recognized by my computer as a CD ... What should I do, I need to get it working!

Hi,

Please follow the HP Smart Install Control Utility below to disable the HP Smart feature for the printer:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL53553/Im-129228-1/LJM1130_M1210_SI_Utility.exe

 

Once done restart the printer and then check for any difference, it should then no longer detected as a CD drive.

 

Also be sure to have the latest printer drivers installed prior connecting the USB:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL32629/Im-80811-7/LJM1130_M1210_MFP_Full_Solution.exe
