Suddenly, with out warning or dimenished print quality,  this message pops up ....imaging drum needs replacing

7 year old printer, so Im not sure how long they are supposed to last.  Used lightly for home office.

Recently, it would not photocopy or scan, but it consistenly printed wirelessly so I wasnt concerned, until now.  Is it worth investing in an imaging drum or new rinter ?

Thanks

Compare the price of the drum to the replacement cost of the printer.

It's hard to justify keeping a 7 year old printer running.
