Hello Team;

I am getting aprompt to enter password when I try to enter settings hence can't connect to WiFi , help appreciated to reset the password/printer

Thank you for visiting HP Support Forum,

You may want to try reseting your device to factory deafaults .

Below are two reset, which you may want to try resetting to check if Printer EWS password clears.
Select the Administration menu, and then select the General Settings menu -> Restore Factory Settings
1.  Restore Factory Defaults:Reset printer settings to the factory defaults
2.  Restore Network Settings: Reset settings for your wired or wireless.

 

If issue persist and still asking for password, then do let me know , i will provide additional reset step which clears the password.
