CM1415fnw

I have just purchased a 2nd hand Laser Jet Pro CM1415fnw printer but whenever I go in the System Setup menu it asks me for the password. I don't have the password and neither does the importer who imports 2nd hand printers. Can someone help me reset the password please.

Hi!

Follow the below steps to reset the printer.

 

  1. On the product control panel, touch the Setup button.
  2. Scroll to and touch the Service menu
  3. Scroll to and touch the Restore Defaults button, and then touch the OK button. The product automatically restarts.

I tried doing that but it asks for the password when I press the service button. I need to reset the printer without the password

We have a CM1415FN colour printer that is password protected, the employee who set the password has left the company and we need to reset the printer so that we can use it, PLEASE HELP!
