My printer fails to connect to the wireless router. I receive 'Invalid WPA passphrase' The wireless test report says the WPA authentication method on your HP printer has been changed from default settings. This may cause problems when connecting to your woreless network.

I performed the following but it diddn't help

Restore Defaults:
On the product control panel, touch the Setup button.
Scroll to and touch the Service menu.
Scroll to and touch the Restore Defaults button, and then touch the OK button.
The product automatically restarts.

I tried performing an NVRAM reset on your printer and it didn't help.

I will appreciate if you could send me the steps to perform factory reset.

Thank you

Blent

Hi

Your Wireless Router has a "PIN" or "WPA", that is what is wanted.

IP Resevation.pngNB: they are not my real values.

Resetting your printer to clear all data is fine, but you still need to know and enter the passphrase, or use the "Button" to find and connect devices.

Hi.

Were you able to resolve your problem?

I have the same issue and haven't found the solution.
