Scan Doctor can't fix Device Manager problem on MFP 477 fdw scan problems

My MFP 477 fdw Printer/Scanner has had many problems since the December Windows 10 update. I run on the 64 bit programs. Print and Scan Doctor has fixed many issues, but scanning remains a problem and I get only the top 1/3 of the page sent to the computer. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers many, many times (at least 10) since the update but this problem still remains. The Scan Doctor says it is an issue with the Device Manager and it can't fix it. Any suggestions?
