Product: MFP 281fdw
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I am trying to scan to network folder and it keeps failing when testing from either the printer or from a laptop.  But i can scan using the HP scan software.

 

Thanks in advance.

 

I was researching smb1.0 but i cant find anywhere to turn on my machine.

 

HELP.

Hi David,

Does your user account have a password? if not it is required to set a password for the user for the printer to connect to a shared folder.

 

Have you shared your folder?

 

What is the used share path?

I have tried with and without passwords. I used the root folder password.
