Disconnect all network/usb/parallel cables from unit and restart. If unit will come to ready when not connected then most likely you will need to update the firmware on the machine. Print the configuration page and compare the firmware date code to the current firmware posted at support.HP.com.  Update as needed. CAUTION:  if the existing firmware on your 4350 is older than 2015, directly installing the current firmware may not work and result in a dead formatter.

If unit has the 49 error, even when not connected then you may have a hardware issue such as bad memory. You can remove the formatter and try to print an engine test page that way which will confirm that base engine is working and that the problem is the formatter or memory on the formatter.

You will need to purge all print jobs currently on any workstations.
