Setting Password to Hp Wireless 1102w Direct Wifi

Hello guys I have an hp 1102w laser jet printer. I figured out that it can be wirelessly be connected to a network that is at home. I was successfully able to make one as well. But I wanted to access direct connection to the printer. For that I turned on the direct wireless access option. I was able to take out prints by connecting directly to the printer. The problem that I faced was the wifi that the printer gave had no password set to it. I tried to configure password but there was no option in the wireless direct setup in the EWS (Embedded web service) I want to ask how can I configure a password to my printers hp wireless direct. Also the problem is when I enter 192.168.223.1 after connecting to the printer, the page does not open.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

You should be able to set up your own password using the EWS page. Could you share a screenshot of the EWS page and what you see under the networking tab?

I do not understand the latter part of the issue, where you say 192.168.223.1 does not open the page? You did mention that you're able to access the EWS page?
