I have tried everything to set up my printer and with no success.

The HP Easy Start App cannot find my printer - and there is no printer listed in my "add printers" list.  Very frustrated, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.  I have not connected the USB or Ethernet as per the instructions - and yes, my WIFI is good and the router is about one meter from the printer.

Any help is appreciated.

I suggest that if your router is that close, connect via a wired ethernet and then simply allow the MAC to automatically connect to the printer. If it does not autoconnect, go to preferences>printers and add the printer that way. Easy Start is nice when it works but standard installs are typically more reliable.

Thanks, Repairatrooper!

I was able to print with the ethenet cable.  So, is there any way to make it now wireless?
