I have tried printing on several different weights and brands of card stock, and all of them give extremely poor quality (unuseable) results. I have tried some labelled for lasers, some labelled for inkjet and some labelled for "all printers". Does anybody have any suggestions?

In the print driver you have to specify the type of paper being cardstock or labels or whatever and on the printer you have to set the type of paper in the tray as cardstock or labels or whatever. When you do this the printer will adjust the speed of the document going thru the printer to slower so the fuser binds the toner better to the media.
