Color LaserJet MFP M476dw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Spectrum replaced my modem with the Arris dual band TG1672G, prior to had NO problems printing to my HP Color LaserJet MFP M476dw.

Now I cannot print.  I can scan from computer, printer says it's ready then shows one documment in waiting.

Have uninstalled, shut down, restarted, reinstalled the print drivers.

Have restored the default settings on the printer

I can print directly from computer to printer using ethernet from computer to printer but cannot when the connection goes through the router.

The wireless function works

Pinging shows the IP address

Previous suggestion was that the port speed of 1000 Mbps was too fast and to change the port to 100 Mbps, did this on port 1, still does not print.

Advanced Port Scanner shows the printer

Everything else seems to be working except the ability to print.

This is a home office situation so I need to be networked via ethernet.  All cables are run through TP-LINK 16-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Switch which is then connected to port 1 (the 100 Mbps) on the Arris Cable Modem.

Again, this set-up has worked perfectly for years, until Spectrum replaced the prior cable modem onTuesday 2/21/2017.

Hi,

Please download and run the HP print scan doctor from the below link

Hope this helps.

Have already run scan doctor, no help.

I did notice that the printer shows in Device Manager under Print Queue but not Printer.

Older MFP that DOES work shows in both Print Queue and Printer.  Would this be the possible problem?
