After I pulled a piece of paper out of printer that was jammed I realized that I forced the paper feed rollers to go in opposite direction. When I pushed the rollers back into place I noticed the printer was not picking up the paper. When looking at a youtube video I noticed that the spring attached to the rollers is still on the roller but the other side is disconnected from the printer and I do not know how to reconnect. Is this something someone can tell me how to repair myself or Is this worth bringing in to get repaired or should I just purchase another printer.
Thank you in advance,
Colleen

I will try and help. The spring is just to pull the rollers down onto the paper .If the other side has broken of just find a way to put pressure on that spring onto the paper.Maybe just make a new hole to hook the spring should work.Hope this will help.

Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.
I understand that you are in need of support.
I am afraid to say that it is a hardware issue with the printer, I would personally suggest you contact our HP phone support for one on one interaction.
If your product is out of warranty, then remember to choose the paid options to get the tech support number.
They might have multiple options to help you on this.
Please use the following link to create yourself a case number, then call and it may help speed up the call process:
Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp
Step 2. Sign in / sign in as a guest
Step 3. Enter the product number or select to auto detect
Step 4. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
Step 5. Scroll down and click: HP contact options - click on Get phone number and phone number appear.
Keep me posted on further assistance. Hope that helps!
Have a great day ahead!
Cheers:)

Thank you so much. I didn't have to make a hole but with you giving that as an option I decided to explore a little more and decided to try spots to attach the spring. I found a spot and it does make a little bit of noise when it goes to print but it is printing. This might be a temporary fix but it works.
Thank you,
Colleen

I am glad that that got you going.I think that is about the only option that you will have.Maybe it might not be worth the effort to spend more money.
