Hi Admin,

 

current in Office we are using HP LaserJet CP1525N, our users not changing the Cartridge until more the  1 month are  using the catridge empty   --% .

 

when we keep i using --% , is my printer having problem ??

I think that it is perfectly fine to use the cartrige even when the printer says that it’s level is very low. On my printer are currently 2 cartriges in very low level for months, but I printed plenty of pages with it and the quality is still normal. Actualy on the status page should be written something like this:

 

“Actual toner cartridge life remaining may vary. Consider having a replacement available to install when print quality is no longer acceptable. The toner cartridge does not need to be replaced now unless the print quality is no longer acceptable.“

 

like it is stated on this site for example:

So I think, that the best practice is to use the toner until the print quality is not visibly lower. After you see any quality problems with printing, then I would replace the cartridge.
