Every now and then the printer pops up with this 10.1002 supply error message inspite of the new cartridges.

Really frustrating as unable to work with the printer stuck up like this.

Kindly help in resolving this issue ASAP.

I understand you are getting supply error even after installing new cartridges on your printer.

 

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

 

Did you make any changes to your printer?

 

As you mentioned you are getting supply error even after installing new cartridges on your printer.

 

Try few steps recommended below.

 

There is a communication failure with one of the cartridges.

The "X" indicates which cartridge: 0=black, 1=cyan, 2=magenta, 3=yellow.

 

Remove the affected Toner. Look at where the chip on the cartridge hits the reader at the rear of the machine. There are two triangular 'wires' which hit the chip.

 

Turn the printer off and then on. Remove and reinstall the cartridge(s). If the error persists, replace the cartridge(s). If the error still persists, contact HP.

 

Refer this article to further troubleshoot supply errors on your printer.

 

If the issue still persists please contact HP support for service options.
