I'll start with I am using after market ink because charging double for ink and setting printers to only use a specific kind is a behavior frowned upon by consumers.

I continue to get a supply memory error when I replace the toner. I have tried multiple cartridges, reset everything, made sure there were no plastic pieces on the cartridge still, made sure the cartridge protection is off, etc.   If I reinsert my original cartridge, I just get the error that the ink is low.

How do I bypass this error message so that I can use the printer?   I have reset the printer already with no success.

The printer reads information stored on memory chip from each toner cartridge if the data on the chip is unreadable, corrupted or with wrong data printer reports supply memory error. You can't bypass or turn off that message.
