I am trying to create a Date/Timestamp on all prints that print from this printer. I noticed that there is a setting to do this with "Fax Received" (which does, in fact, work) but I cant seem to find the same thing for prints, which is a little ridiculous.

This is a work printer and a work computer so I am a little limited by the user settings. I know of ways to add timestamps to individual documents, like word documents and PDF's but it would be a lot easier if I didn't have to worry about it. Timestamps are not a setting that you can default to all word and pdf documents so I really would prefer the printer timestamp my prints like it does for faxes.

Please tell me if this is possible or not. Even if it is a crazy work around.

You need to update to a more current UPD.  Your revision looks like 6.0 and current is 6.8.

Use the HP UPD driver and set the default settings for the driver to always print a watermark and make the watermark the date and time.

I am not seeing the option to set Date and Time as a watermark. This is what I see on my screen.

It also doesn't give me the option to shift the watermark like it does for you. I'm not sure if this is because the driver is not updated or if it's because I am not accessing the actual UPD driver the same way you are (though I don't think that's the case, because it says UPD version 6 when I go to the "about" tab. Seen below).

Thank you. I will have to contact IT and see if this is possible. Like I said it's a work printer and computer, so only IT can do updates/downloads like that.
