I am trying to print a transparency to make a screen for printing on shirts. I am only printing in black ink, but the image is not printing dark enough, light still passes through. I have the printer set up to only use black ink when printing 'Neutral Grays.' I have tried setting the paper to both 'transparency' and 'plain' paper. No change. Anything else I can do?

Newer printer models are designed to save toner, that's why your print on transparency looks poor.

If you want your blacks to be black on transparencies you need to use an old-school laser printer.
